- Identify the different types of teams and determine what type of team one has and what type is desired.
- Learn five factors that can make a team dysfunctional.
- Focus on performance with teamwork as the means, not the end.
- Perform well under pressure by employing four coping skills necessary for becoming a high performing team.
- Measure coping skills with the Coping and Stress Profile®.
- Increase team performance under pressure by improving the team’s Coping Skills.
- Develop the characteristics of a high performing team.
Understand the Innovation Process for turning ideas into reality with a workable plan.
- Identify Team Roles using the Team Dimensions Profile™.
- Understand the strengths of different team roles, what they contribute to the team process, and how to combine them to increase effectiveness.
- Use the Z-Process to create change and to creatively deal with unplanned change.
- Prepare for taking team members through the Team Dimensions Profile™.
- Apply learning to use the Z-Process with the team to develop a team vision and goals, and turn them into action plans.
FOLLOW UP APPLICATION
- Take team members through the Team Dimensions Profile™ and utilize the Z-Process to establish a team vision and goals.
- Look for opportunities to run the Z-Process with the team to solve problems, or develop more innovative processes or products.
- Optional: Take team members through the Coping and Stress Profile® to increase team coping skills.
